RETURNS
All orders placed before 2.00pm GMT will be shipped out the same day. Any orders received after this time will be shipped the following day. If your order is placed after 2.00pm GMT on a Friday, or over the weekend, your order will be shipped on the following Monday. Orders being delivered within the United Kingdom mainland include free shipping. There will be additional charge for the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and the Scottish Highlands. These charges may need to be applied manually after your order has been placed on the website so if you're unsure about delivery to your non-mainland address, please contact our sales team before ordering.

For customers outside the UK, please note item price and shipping cost are not inclusive of any customs or import duties. These charges are your responsibility and will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery. Please check with your country's custom office to determine what these additional costs are prior to purchase.
Delivery is typically made within 7-14 working days, subject to customs clearance. If the consignee refuses to accept the goods for whatever reason and Motakraft incur a cost because of this, any refund offered will be minus those administration costs.
Please note, we are unable to ship to the following countries: Brazil, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia.
There is a surcharge associated with large items [oversized] delivered to remote GB destinations, N. Ireland & Scottish Highlands, Islands and off-shore GB destinations should allow extra delivery time (approximately +2 days to service chosen) due to their remote locations.

Nearly all delays to dispatch are caused by our inability to contact a customer. Please provide accurate contact details. In most situations we can resolve issues through direct customer contact and deliver your goods on time - please provide any necessary contact details in case we do need to contact you.
Important note: Orders being sent to a different delivery address will be subject to further security checks. Motakraft reserve the right to indefinitely delay dispatch of an order if fraudulent activity is suspected.
Although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure your products are delivered within the set timescales, we cannot guarantee that they will not be affected by unforeseen issues affecting our delivery partner. Under these circumstances, delivery charges will not be refunded.
During the checkout process, you may be able to specify separate billing and shipping addresses. For security reasons, we reserve the right not to accept/deliver orders if we have reason to believe that the address is not secure or the order is fraudulent. If this affects an order you place, we will notify you as soon as we can and provide you with alternate payment options.
We are unable to change the delivery address once the order has been accepted so please ensure that you input your details accurately. If you are having the order delivered to a business address please make sure that the company name is included as well as the name of the recipient. All orders delivered to a business address must be checked before being signed for.
This will be provided via email on dispatch. A signature will be required on delivery. If you are not home for the delivery, our couriers will attempt to contact you to arrange delivery. However, if the goods are returned to us due to failed delivery, you will be charged an administration and restocking fee up to and including £45. Some smaller items may be delivered to collection access points close to your address.
Please note that we are unable to refund delivery charges if the courier is not able to deliver the goods due to nobody being home or other reasons outside of the control of Motakraft.
We take great pride in our products and have thousands of satisfied customers. However, in the highly unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order, you should notify us as soon as possible but no later than 14 working days from receipt of the goods. To be eligible for a return, you will need to notify us in writing by post or email and return the item(s) to us in a saleable condition. The item(s) must be unused, in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please take every care to ensure the goods are not damaged in transit; we strongly recommend insuring the return delivery if the value of the items is over £50. If the goods are not adequately packaged or are returned damaged, you will be liable for the cost of replacement or repair.
If you change your mind, you can return your product to us within 30 days of it being dispatched, unused and in its original retail packaging

Yes you will be responsible for paying for return your item(s) unless the goods are faulty.
For larger items such prices vary depending on the courier that will be collecting the goods from your home, item weight(s) and dimensions.Please contact us for a quotation
You must return the item(s) within 30 days (from the date of dispatch of the product to you)
We can only offer a refund if the item is unused and is returned in its original packaging with the seal and labels intact
We’re no longer offering exchanges on items. Once your item is returned in line with our returns policy, you will be refunded for the order and you’ll need to place a new order
All items receive a 6 month guarantee, if your item is faulty by manufacturing defect and it is not related to misuse we will repair or replace the damaged item

The refund will go back onto the same card / account used at the time of purchase and will be paid back to you via a return transaction. By law, we are unable to refund to an alternative card / account.
If the refund was to be declined, we will then contact you within 14 days to obtain further information
We will refund you within 30 days of receiving the returned item
Please ensure you include your 7 digit returns reference number so we can promptly process your refund
I Need to Return an Unwanted Item
We are happy to take back unused items in 'as new' condition for a refund, credit or exchange:
- You must declare to us within 14 days from the day after delivery that you wish to return the item.
- Goods must be in original packaging and packaged to prevent damage in transit. Brackets and fitting must be packed so as not to scratch or dent the product in transit
- Goods must not be used or fitted, retail packaging must be complete, and you must return all component parts
- Return postage is non-refundable, and in cases of customer error for example ordering the wrong product we reserve the right to retain the shipping costs associated with dispatching the goods.
- Full monetary refund will only be issued for items declared to be returned within 14 days from the day after delivery.
If you forget to include your returns form our warehouse cannot match the return to your order and your refund may be delayed. Please contact us as soon as you can, and we will do our best to help

To help us expedite your return, please insert a piece of paper with your name, address and invoice number securely into the packaging.
At your request, we can arrange collection using our own couriers for a cost of £45 inc. VAT for items such as side steps, roof bars etc. and £65 inc. VAT for larger items such as roof racks, side bars ,exhausts etc (mainland UK only). Once your return is received it will be inspected within 5 working days. We will then send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/exchange. If approved, the exchange goods will be sent out right away or your refund will be processed, and a credit automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that, depending on payment method/organisation, your funds may take up to 72 hours to clear. If you do not receive your refund, please contact your bank.
